Badges come off with heat and line rather than a screwdriver, and the adhesive residue is removed with a proper solvent and then the panel is polished so there is no outline left behind. Where a car has faded around a badge we will tell you before we take it off, because on older paint the shadow is in the lacquer and no amount of polishing brings it back. Gloss black badge swaps and blanking plates also available.

Common questions
Will there be a mark where the badge was?+
On a car under about five years old, no. On older or heavily sun-faded paint the badge has been shading that patch for years and a faint outline can remain — we check and warn you first.
Can you fit black badges instead?+
Yes, either genuine gloss-black items or your existing badges wrapped in black film.
