Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data SK Zone collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. We are the data controller. You can reach us at [email protected] or 07493 177348.
What we collect
When you send us a build from the quote builder, book online, or ring us, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, postcode and vehicle registration, along with the configuration you picked. When you buy from us we also hold the record of the work done and the amount paid.
Your vehicle registration is used to identify the make, model and size of your car so we quote the right amount of film and the right parts. We do not use it for anything else.
Our website records anonymous usage statistics — pages visited and broad location at town level — so we can see which pages are useful. This is first-party analytics hosted on our own infrastructure; we do not sell it or share it with advertising networks.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To perform the contract with you: taking and confirming your booking, ordering the right parts, carrying out the work, and invoicing you.
To meet legal obligations: we are required to keep records of sales and VAT for six years.
For our legitimate interests: keeping a service history against your vehicle so we can advise you properly on your next visit, and contacting you about work we have identified as due.
Marketing
We only send marketing messages if you have asked us to. Every message includes a way to stop them, and stopping them will never affect the service you get from us.
Booking confirmations, reminders and messages about work in progress are service messages, not marketing, and are sent as part of fulfilling your booking.
Who we share it with
Film and parts suppliers, where something has to be ordered specifically for your vehicle — limited to what they need to supply it.
Our payment provider, for card transactions. We do not store card numbers.
Our SMS and email providers, for sending booking confirmations.
We do not sell your data to anyone, ever, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Financial records for six years, as required by HMRC. Vehicle service history for as long as you remain a customer plus six years. Website analytics in aggregated form only after 14 months.
If you ask us to erase your data we will do so except where we are legally required to retain it, and we will tell you exactly what has to stay and why.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to be told what we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of strictly-necessary cookies: one to remember your chosen language, and one to keep your booking together while you complete it. These do not track you across other websites.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
